Butterflies of Wellness Summer Enrichment Program For Kids

The Summer Your Child Finds Their Center

A Boutique, Clinician-Led Enrichment Experience for Ages 6–10

Most summer programs are built for high energy. Ours is built for high intentionality.

For the child who thrives in structure, the child who is navigating “big feelings,” or the child who simply deserves a space to build genuine confidence: Butterflies of Wellness offers a sophisticated alternative to the traditional summer camp.

We’ve traded the chaotic noise of large-scale childcare for a quiet, curated morning of growth, connection, and clinical-grade insight.

Why Clinician-Led Matters

At the heart of our program is a level of expertise you won’t find in a standard summer setting. While most programs are staffed by students or seasonal workers, Butterflies of Wellness is designed and facilitated by licensed clinical professionals.

This Means:

• Clinical Eyes, Every Hour: We don’t just “watch” play; we facilitate it. We see the subtle social dynamics, the quiet moments of frustration, and the opportunities for growth that others might miss.

• The 1:6 Standard: We maintain a strictly limited enrollment of 16 children to ensure a specialized ratio. This allows for personalized coaching and the space to meet every child exactly where they are.

• Predictability as a Priority: We utilize structured routines that mirror the safety of a therapeutic environment, without the clinical feel, allowing kids to feel secure enough to take social risks and try new things.

The Programming

The Morning Rhythm

Our mornings are a blend of intentional movement, creative exploration, and social mastery.

• Mindfulness & The Body: Each day begins and ends with guided meditation and breathing tools. We teach children how to “reset” their nervous systems through yoga-inspired movement and mind-body awareness.

• The Art of Expression: Through storytelling, creative writing, and art, children explore their identity and learn to name their internal world with precision.

• Social Engineering: Using play-based role-play and collaborative challenges, we coach children through the complexities of peer dynamics—teaching them how to set boundaries, practice empathy, and lead with kindness.

• Intentional Play: Our outdoor time is focused on structured games that build teamwork and resilience.

What Your Family Takes Home?

We believe that for a child’s growth to be sustainable, the parent must be a partner in the process. You are an important part of this process. You aren’t just dropping your child off and hoping for the best, you are gaining a window into their development.

Measurable Outcomes

For Your Child:

• They will gain a Toolbox of calming strategies they can use at home and in school.

• A measurable increase in social confidence and problem-solving skills.

• A sense of belonging in a community that values their unique temperament.

For You:

• Weekly Parent Recaps: Every Friday, you receive a summary of the tools we practiced, allowing you to use the same language and strategies at home.

• The End-of-Season Summary: At the close of the program, you’ll receive a comprehensive, non-clinical summary of your child’s progress, highlighting their strengths and areas of continued growth.

The Bridge Between School Years

The transition from one academic year to the next is often more than just a calendar change; it is a significant emotional shift. While traditional camps focus on simply keeping children busy, Butterflies of Wellness focuses on keeping them grounded. We utilize this six-week window to build emotional infrastructure, equipping your child with the self-regulation and social intelligence required for the classroom and beyond. By choosing a clinician-led environment, you aren't just filling their summer mornings; you are providing them with the foundational tools to navigate peer dynamics, academic stress, and the complexities of growing up with a sense of mastery.

The Antitode to Overstimulation

Many children finish their summer feeling more depleted than when they started. Our setting acts as a necessary nervous system reset. We have intentionally created a space of structured, calm, and play-based social modeling. Here, children rediscover the joy of authentic connection in a space where they aren't just another face in the crowd. Our facilitators are trained to understand the nuances of child development, we are able to coach them through the subtle micro-moment of friendship, teaching them how to set boundaries, practice empathy, and advocate for themselves in real-time.
